NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS

OF THE TOWN OF LAKEWOOD

Affidavits of Candidacy for the following offices, to be filled at the March 10, 2026, Annual Election, need to be filed with the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 3110 Strand Road from December 30, 2025 to 5:00 pm on January 13, 2026.  Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am—12:00 pm. Arrangements can be made with the Clerk to accept affidavits at other times. Call the office at 218-606-6972. The filing fee is $2.00.

The open positions are:

Supervisor A - seat to serve three (3) year term.

Supervisor B – seat to serve three (3) year term.

You must be 21 years of age and have lived in Lakewood Township for 30 days to qualify.

The Clerk or designee will be available at the town hall on the last day of filing, January 13, 2026 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm to accept affidavits.
